I am fairly green in academia (< 1 year) and I want to shift to an area of research which I always wanted to do but never could as a Ph.D. student (because of conflict of interest).
The issue I am facing is that due to lack of my documented research experience in this field (read, lack of papers) I am finding it very hard to land any grant and reviewers keep saying "The PI hasn't demonstrated any experience in said research" blah blah.
Any advice on how to overcome this?

I recently developed binge eating disorder over the last few years - with Covid and everything else going on I used food as a coping mechanism. Now things are more back to normal I’m still struggling with it - especially when I have a bad day at work or other stressors. Anyone else struggle with this and how did you overcome it? Update: In his IG stories, Paul states that Karine has filed a restraining order preventing him from contacting her or Pierre. On IG, he also posted what looks to be Karine’s statement to the police. The statement does have explicit descriptions of DV/SV and may be triggering, so I did not include it here but you can easily find it on his account if wanted. I hope they all get the help they need.

Just discovered 90DF and completed my first season (s6) and then Happily Ever After. Some thoughts:
- Began as anti-Larissa but Colt basically wants to keep her as a hostage sex kitten under threat of calling cops if she doesn’t fall in line
- Jon and Fernanda - could’ve been a legit couple, had high hopes for them
- (Tr)Ashley - thoroughly unlikeable, doing it for social media likes
- Andrei is on the slope to domestic abuse
- Azan and Nicole - LOL that is a sham marriage if I ever saw one

The casting director this season needs an Emmy.
