I have an interview for a role in Quality, specifically ER. I have no ER experience but have med surg, oncology, home care, and OR so I was just planning on talking about how all my previous RN roles have involved process improvements. Any other helpful suggestions?

As an ER nurse, I will say that the ER nursing process is VERY different from those other areas. The worst thing you could do is go in and start telling them how to do their job when you've never done it yourself. Best thing you could do would be to spend a few months picking up shifts in the department to really learn what it takes.

I agree. ER nursing is very different.

I would advise you to Pick few shifts, talk to someone working on the job to how they work and you can also shadow their staff.

It turns out this role was not just a quality role for ER/ICU. It’s a quality role for many different areas but doing a little of everything. I decided it would not be for me during the interview.

Any thoughts on an MBA vs MS Project Management. I was planning on doing an MBA but and MS Project Management seems like the better option now. I will be an international student and was planning on making a career shift into project management itself. I thought MBA would give me the best chance but I came across some good MS Project Management degrees. Also, I already hold a MS but in another field. Any thoughts?

Hi all.
Has anyone in
IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.

And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?

I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.

Thanks in advance
