For litigators, there’s a pretty robust body of case law in Florida. I’ve found that makes life a lot easier when researching. Smaller states have a much smaller corpus of law available for citation.
The lack of taxes. And I agree with BLA1 - big state with a robust body of case law.
I’m admitted in 3 other states and - Omg SO MUCH. How FL doesn’t babysit the cases. The plethora of case law. The efiling system actually works and is far superior to many other states. The fact that there are no state income taxes. The affordability of living compared to other larger metro areas. Literally EVERYTHING MAKES MORE SENSE and seems to be more rational and common sense based. The courthouses are much nicer (now). Proposals for Settlement. Most counties don’t force you to trial when both sides aren’t ready and you have a good reason. Mandated mediation. I’d move back in a heartbeat if I had the right opportunity!
The FL not “babysitting” the cases isn’t that great of a flex tbh
