I am doing a back door Roth IRA through Vanguard and while everything makes sense to me, I am unsure if an additional $6000 be invested for a non working spouse. We satisfy the criteria but two questions - 1) Is this still valid I.e., $12k can be invested for 2021? And 2) Any insight into how this is done - Vanguard doesn’t let me add more than $6k as it’s above the individual limit. I tried searching the bowl for specific answers but wasn’t successful. I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..
