Always marketing
I started my career as a Video Production Manager in tech, leading virtual trade show production during the peak of digital events. I then transitioned into email marketing, where I quickly advanced and built strong skills in multi‑channel campaign execution and marketing operations. I later moved into consulting, which expanded my perspective even though it wasn’t the long-term direction I wanted to pursue. Since 2024, I've been navigating a competitive job market and am seeking a role that leverages my strengths in operations, project management, and marketing execution.
I did public relations and social media management. So I guess not a big pivot.
I also did social media management, and I do still do some freelance work. It was an easy pivot but a pivot nonetheless. I think social media and marketing kind of go hand in hand.
I was a film editor before making my pivot into marketing. I'll say my background there has helped me in my current role because I do end up doing a lot of video work and working with our digital marketing team.
I spent 12 years in the Army, leaving the military from a drill sergeant position. Having previously ran operations at the company level and terminal port operations at the battalion level. After leaving the military, I started a landscaping business, which ran and conducted all of my marketing efforts across all mediums. I decided to go into the corporate world/small business startup in the marketing environment, navigating from marketing specialist positions to paid search positions to client success manager positions.
I was a writer. Communication and ability to pitch and sell ideas, edit copy all super handy in day to day work
