Bout sums up my weekend

ZS Associates
I have a couple of questions for ZS fishes-
1. Is it possible to turn down a promotion at ZS? I'm currently happy with my responsibilities as a Decision Analytics Consultant and don't want any added responsibilities in the near future (next 5 years)
2. Is it possible to shape up a career path in the BC stream which doesn't involve business development? I don't want to get into working on SOWs and RFPs.
Who the hell turn the simulation on LEGENDARY Mode??

You mean creating an artificial set of boundaries for motivated competitive people is demotivating? I’m shocked!
Don’t expect mid-year cohort adjustments even with mid-year promotion. I think the latter is real but don’t expect the same volume of them at mid year as at YE
PwC1, are you in Advisory?
How has it changed things?
I believe partners are constrained by the model as to how staff salary/title movements can occur. When staff don't get the compensation increase or title they expect there can be a full year cycle before a retry, within that time they weigh the choice of staying or leaving the firm, and I don't think there is much partners can do to appease them.
^ not true. We now have a mid-year promotion cycle.
We'll see how that materializes this year. I'm wondering whether there will be cohort adjustments mid year and how many actual mid year promotions.
What is a cohort adjustment? Are you referring to the overnight? I’m not familiar with the term cohort.
No, PCS
Then the cohort model does not apply to you. It’s for Advisory only
