I totally get why someone might worry about anonymity in surveys. But for me, I really believe in being honest. Surveys are a chance to give feedback that can actually make a difference. And if everyone's being honest, the company has a better shot at making things better.
Well what if you wanna be really honest?
I don't trust any of that stuff. Even if it's designed to be anonymous, you never know if some fool screwed up and it isn't. I usually avoid them entirely, but if I'm forced to submit one I'm always careful to be upbeat, making sure any criticism is constructive. To be honest, I think they just exist so people in HR can check a box, so it's not anything to put a lot of thought or concern into.
