Got offers in HSBC ,Barclays and JP Morgan. The designation is pretty much same across all-VP.HSBC giving 45 lpa while others giving 43 and 42 lpa respectively.M inclined towards HSBC but looking at glassdoors it feels there are a lot of layoffs and 0 job security?Guys who are working in HSBC can you please let me know if job security is indeed less in HTI and is there no stability in HSBC.M looking to get settled and thinking long term.

Imo hsbc is better than jpmc these days due to better job security, wlb and wfo policies - can say this as I’ve worked in both
Hsbc is not safe anymore. Till 2026 its not safe. Extra package looks good but those cho€%%u managers won't give u otvp Variable pay. Do if other 2 has fix pay then go for them without any hesitation. Also hsbc has lots of internL political parties and you have to butter them up in order to survive.
Worst part is no HRBP concept here so u will be alone and face partiality in promotions. Management expected Zero complaints
At this level that too working 10-12 hrs every day. If you complain then they say in 1o1, with this much of money you are supposed to work like a donkey without crying.
Its called as HIGH SCALE BC.

Probably Barclays seems a better option here. You can counter Barclays with other offer.
