Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

Hi👋 I left the role of volunteer manager at a non-profit too. My reasoning was income and growth based. Unsure about your position but there was not a lot of growth potential for at my non profit. When I applied for jobs I used my cover letter and explained that I was looking to grow with X company [I ended up leaving the non-profit world though].
Usually if you’re currently employed at a position, your interviewer knows to not go rattling their mouth. The non-profit world has so many employees who jump around organizations in their local communities, and its understood to keep it discreet. I would recommend having someone you trust there provide a written or phone referral too, so they don’t feel the need to check references until an offer has been made, however.
This is such great insight, I really appreciate it. Thanks so much!!
