Hi all, I see a lot of posts here where one person is having quite a few offers and negotiating the salary based on the the best offer in hand.
1. On what grounds will the recruiter offer you a better pay. Will this not create a negative impression?
2. Can i start looking out for jobs after i put down my papers considering my skills are Snowflake, Informatica, IICS, SQL, API with 8 YOE
3.What salary should I target for the above experience and skills.

Do most firms start reporting years in September or January? Prior firm did an August year for counting hours and then another did January (both Amlaw 200). Abandoning Green Card
Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? I come from a low tax country and wonder whether Uncle Sam will send a final tax bill or penalty fee or even make it difficult/impossible for me to abandon the GC once I will leave the US again. This is crucial for me to apply for the GC.

First year associate thinking about making the just from medium sized reputable IP firm to In House. Started at said firm summer of 1L year as a law clerk/patent agent in May 2019, have worked through school and full time as associate since Sept 2021. Feeling very “stuck” in day to day work. Love the patent/IP space but drafting and pros w/minimal human interaction is getting very difficult. Thinking In House would be better, but not sure how much experience needed. Thoughts?
