Has anybody worked on an all-female team? Or under senior female management? Not to exclude or anything, but I think it would be pretty cool.

Yes, from 2004 - 2006. I LOVED it. The team was very collaborative, supportive, and we socialized outside of work.

No, but I think I would love that. I've come pretty close - I worked on a team of 7 and one was a male. We all worked very well together, and our male colleague fit right in as well, but I think it would have been pretty neat to be all female.

Yes, people talk a lot of crap about women not getting along. (And I know sometimes we don't.) But the team I worked on was super positive & collaborative. It really was the best experience of my career so far.

Never the entire org but my smaller “zone” or group that had multiple PMs under a director or VP have been all female/non male at my last company and current company. Been really great both times, always felt it was collaborative and supportive!

Yes. I loved it!

No, unfortunately, but I'm sure i'd be a great experience.

Yes! Everyone gets along really nicely and are supportive of each other. I've never seen such a team work so well on collaborative projects before every voice was given the opportunity to be heard. There's nothing quite like it.

Yes! It was amazing. Everything just went smoothly. I wish I could work in an all female group again.

I have but unfortunately it comes with its own drama. It was great overall but my senior management was old timers in the company, they appreciated what I did, until I challenged them. I think it’s very empowering to be working with women. But it’s also important that all of them have relevant experience. Unfortunately my previous company it was all internally promoted women and it’s wasn’t long when they all started feeling challenged and then the politics beings. I think all works place has this but I experienced women take it personally when you challenged them. Unfortunately. My last company was the only company where I had women leadership. I was excited and motivated in the beginning but didn’t work out.

And since I am not interested in coding, what are all other options I should look for. Please help me out.

Seriously how do FAANG have so many vacant posts, half the fish here seem to exit to those five companies.

Jokes aside, what do people do after a few years at FAANGS or other big industry players? You are hired to deal with some problem for a year or two, but presumably after that they have no need for you so you’d have to move along... what do the exit opportunities look like?
