I know some very basic signs in sign language. I had a deaf coworker and tried to pick up on and learn what I could. It honestly hasn’t come up much, but hopefully it makes a difference for somebody one day.
Even just a few basic phrases in any language can help out a lot with customers. It’s always been on my mind to learn more, and I should start prioritizing it.
I redownloaded Duolingo to try to do this too. I took some Spanish in high school and can still pick up bits and pieces when I hear it at work, so I'm at least not starting from square one. I'm in Florida and we have a huge Hispanic population. I'm thinking being bilingual could open doors for me if I'm able to make it happen.

Very true and yes being bilingual can definitely open more doors for you
No but I have dreamed of learning a new language. I think I must lack the discipline. I Spanish and French in school but nothing really stuck.
