I have a newly promoted senior that is still a staff on my large job and just told me they requested a week off during fieldwork, even though they have been unassigned for multiple weeks here and there all summer. They told me they were waiting until August so that they wouldn’t have to use their accrued time so they can bank it. So now I’m totally screwed and down a team member and my manager thinks “I can handle it”. My morale is at an all time low right now.

Designation - Associate (602)
CTC - 33 fixed + 10-12% bonus (expecting total around 36-37 LPA)
Joining date - 15th Sept
Have accepted the offer letter. Wanted to know, how the offered CTC is compared to current market standards.

Alternate offer - Q2 software
CTC - 37.5 LPA (33 LPA fixed + rest stocks)

I have got a offer from JP Morgan, I had asked them for joining bonus which they declined but have told me they would pay me my annual bonus(pre defined in current organization) in January as incentive along with rest of organization. They have declined to give this in writing anywhere and have asked to have faith in verbal commitment. Is this a normal practice?
