Has anyone received a Request for Evidence (RFE) during an H-1B visa transfer to a new employer? If so, how long did it take to get a response? The new employer filed under premium processing. Also, is there a chance the transfer could be denied?

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. Should I start at a business law firm to get experience working with corporations first?

I have been in an awkward reporting structure for 2.5 years. On record I’ve reported to the VP of Marketing, who was crazy toxic, and technologically inept. I’m a senior website manage and she had no interest in my role. She shirked me off to also report to her two directors, PR and Call Center. Needless to say, that’s been a difficult situation for me. She’s gone and the new VP starts tomorrow. Any guidance on how to ensure this ends with the incumbent VP?
