I guess this might only be worth it to try a bunch of watches before heavily investing in one.
This is neat but the price per month is rough.
Agreed D1. Very expensive
At $300/month on explorer ii I'd be almost 1/2 way to what I paid for mine new ($7,900) with no asset. I would be better off buying a watch used and selling it when I get bored.
They have a new option for 150/month which includes explorer ii. But still expensive. I bought an explorer i used for about 5k. I could probably re-sell it for the same. Much better to buy imo.

Not sure what the insurance and maintenance costs they’re carrying look like, but the return on this looks pretty damn good
E.g., lending a ~15-20k Patek Calatrava for 600 a month gets you ~35 - 50% per annum
And this on an asset that doesn’t depreciate all that much
Not bad if they can keep costs down and get most of their inventory leased out
This has to be the oddest thing I’ve ever seen in a while.. if you have that much to spend monthly on a watch, I think you’re better off saving up and buying one
