pros they can probably give you the best chance at a role while also prepping you for an interview beforehand and cons can be the benefits are usually not great until you get completely brought on for the company.

I used to. Back in the day, when one assignment ended, the recruiters had me set up with another shortly after. After that, I haven't had the same kind of success. It also depends on the field you're in and the demand for your skills. One thing employment agencies do have are free training and other resources.
