HCL Technologies I am writing this behalf of my friend. She attended the interview and has salary discussion with hr on 11th April 2025 and then on 15th April she reached hr for update. They told it was shared for approval and said will get back if there is any update. So my friend waited for 1 day and tried to reach hcl hr by today ( 17th April ) but unfortunately hr is not picking her call.

Could you please help me on this whether she should try contacting the Hr or not?

I only received the job offer letter from the consultancy, but no Appointment Letter is given yet.
So since it's 10-15 day, since I joined. Can I leave this company, since I've got a better offer, with my suitable location.
PS: I have also received the laptop, but didn't login or do anything yet.
Please help me, can I still leave the company? And return the laptop to them. Or I have to continue here itself?

Isn't it annoying how no one ever notices all the hard work you put into your research? The countless hours you spend in the lab, library, or curled up on your couch researching—all of that dissolves into what can feel like obscurity.

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?

Top SDRs oftentimes don't sound like traditional salespeople when cold calling. They use a very casual voice tone.

Here are a few tips:

1. Avoid upward inflections at the end of sentences. This makes it sound like everything you ask is a question
2. Slow down and eliminate buzzwords. Speaking fast makes you sound nervous and less confident
3. Avoid reading from a script - internalize your message and put it into your own works so you sound like YOU!

Thoughts? What are your top tips?
