I've never paid more than $75 for a rear facing car seat, and no more than $100 for a forward booster. Spending hundreds of dollars is ridiculous considering all you get is a little extra padding (which does not add safety) and some fancy colors or name brands for the parents to brag about to their friends.

We are 3x rear facing and up to 5 seats now.
- Britax B-Ready (about to start its final tour of duty with our 3rd)
- Britax Boulevard (just sent to the bullpen for the next few months under #3 outgrows the infant seat)
- 2x Diono Radian rXt (just installed the second one today): pricey but 4-way convertible and we'll use both for the allotted 10 years (most seats are rated for 5)
- Cosco Scenara (dirt cheap. Go-to airline seat because the Dionos are tanks)

I have started a side hustle with two friends. It's Climate Tech related. We have been working with it for the past year as a part-time hustle. We want to take it to the next stage.

My two other friends have a background in consultancy and one of them had a mentor who is really high up at a Big4. He would like to join the start up as a Partner. He seems really experienced and could help raising money, although he does not seem to care about climate change.
