I would appreciate some insight on the lateraling process - how long does a callback (interview after screener) take? And do they usually ask behavioral questions like they do for first years? Thank you!
What would be the typical technical questions during the FDD interview? I am in the internal transfer process so there's no case interview but an only technical and behavioral interviews.
It’s interview season :) behavioral questions are easier to talk through…anyone have any good or common technical ones worth thinking/practicing about? Obviously some will be job role specific
SOS!!!! I just got an offer for a customer consulting role for Financial Services at PwC but I felt that the interview process was too easy. It was 3 conversations on mostly behavioral questions when I was expecting for it to a bit deeper or to be given cases. Any PwC folks have similar experiences? Worried of the talent I’d be working with or if this is the kind of consulting that I want (similar to MBB)
Getting recruited for a cloud strategy manager role at Deloitte. Anybody else gone through the interview process with this group recently? Recruiter mentioned roughly 4 interviews but wasn’t sure whether they were all behavioral or there were some case.
Have an upcoming interview for Tech strategy consultant with Deloitte as an EH. Recruiter mentioned 1 case and 2 behavioral interviews. Really appreciate if someone can share their experience and also touch on the following - 1) Case - will this be tech focused or random case interview? Is it similar to McK interview? 2) Behavioral - Typically how many questions per interview? Do they Grill and ask lot of followups? Appreciate a couple of examples Thanks and apologies for cross posting here
I had my recruiter interview with EY today and now I have to do a recorded video interview. Apparently it’s 5 behavioral questions. Any advice?
I got a final interview coming up for PWC FDD. It’s a behavioral one based on business acumen. Does anyone know what kind of questions I could expect?

Accenture Strategy fishes. I am interviewing for a banking strategy manager role. Any tips on the interview process? I have one behavioral round. One round to discuss my background (resume) and one case interview. Is the case interview very quant heavy? Is it interviewer led or interviewee? Any tips/advice for the resume round ? Thanks in advance!
I have a case interview next week for an exit opp into a strategy and BD role. The case is mostly behavioral, but the recruiter told me the goal is to see how I ‘think’ through Corp strat business cases. Reaching out for any suggestions as to questions to ask regarding strategy, mitigating risks, or specific aspects of the case to look out for? I have some ideas, but I know the fish on here will have great suggestions! Thank you in advance. This opportunity means a lot for me.
Can anyone give more color on the difference between what the “focus” interview and the “behavioral” interview entails for a consultant . Coming in laterally and recruiter didn’t provide much detail! thanks
Feeling horrible about bombing a case interview because I was specifically told all my interviews would be behavioral — I was up front that I was not informed and the interviewer was understanding but I really feel like I messed up horribly despite the other interviews going well — would love any stories of bad interviews to commiserate
Any advicd when prepping for case study/behavioral questions in a last round interview? It’s for a CM associate position at KPMG. I’ll appreciate any insights, thanks!

I have a 15 minute call with a McK recruiter this week to discuss setting up a 1st round interview. Do I need to rehearse resume/behavioral questions, or is this call fairly laid back?
Could someone please give main points to sharpen for an interview in MC. What to expect, important things to mention, what to make an emphasis on during the prep for the case interview, behavioral pointers, ANYTHING would be helpful. TIA, much appreciated. (Coming straight out of school, BBA)
During an interview, one of the interviewer said ‘that is unreal’ to one of my behavioral question example. Still not sure if it was meant to be a compliment or questioning the credibility of my example 🤔
Looking for feedback on my value prop / interview experiences. Anyone have 10-15 minutes over the next week to discuss? Specifically, I don’t feel like I’ve been capitalizing on receiving offers that appear to be very good fits. I’ve completed all the prep guides for cases / behavioral, but I think I need a different perspective on why things aren’t working out. FWIW: Manager with M7 MBA. Happy to provide additional information
Hey guys, Help me out here with the questions that get asked during the behavioral part of the interview. TAI!

Been studying for a week now, still weak at case but I know I have solid behavioral + soft skills. 8 months from undergrad, liberal arts major from a target school. Currently, functional role in a major IT consulting firm. Will they consider my background as well if I don’t perform too well in case? Thanks!

I need your advice. I passed CPA but now dont know what to do with it. Im an experienced hire and looking to move to public accounting. I applied for around 7 companies ( Big 4, Grant Thornton...). No one called me for an interview other than EY though I got a lot of referrals from KPMG, EY...And I just failed the 1st round EY interview ( video record interview) with just 5 behavioral questions. Looks like the doors to public accounting to me has closed. I truly regret studying for CPA

Hi all! I have an interview "Superday" coming up at EY for their Transformation Design & Execution (TD&E) practice at the M level. The virtual interviews will consist of a Behavioral, Technical, Case Study and Practice Leader interview. If you've interviewed their recently, especially for TD&E practice, I'd love to hear from you. For the Case Study, my understanding is that it's qualitative, is that correct? What can I expect to be asked at the Case Study? Any context is so appreciated!

Currently an A3 in assurance. I have two job offers: senior financial analyst (FP&A role) and senior accountant. Similar pay (a little over 40% raise), similar benefits. Will taking one of the offers limit me to just those types of roles going forward or would there still be an opportunity to do the other later on?
Have you done any PBL projects with students during remote learning? If so, how did they go?
Is it just me or is work so much less interesting when WFH? I am single, live with my very chill dog, and I don’t have a ton of distractions at home (i.e. family), and I still can’t focus or feign interest in my work. Not that I am dying to be on the road or at a client site again but I feel like it’s generally a more positive environment at least when I am in the room with my team. I am probably just missing the in-person social interaction even though I am not super chummy with my colleagues.
How much are you saving each month? I'm making 80k annual, maxing out Roth IRA and doing a 17% Trad 401k deduction, and paying $1.5k in monthly rent. Wondering how much I should save/spend after that.
