My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Should I talk to my manager and go back to my hometown Kolkata and work from there? Staying in PG all day and working from here is not quite feasible for me. Suggest pls. Deloitte India

I was not hired as contractor, but I had seen many contractor positions being converted to permanent in Lloyds. There are high chances that your position will be converted to permanent.

That was till this May. But from June it is clearly mentioned as on performance basis the contract can be converted to permanent after 12 months, i have seen my friends who are struggling to get loans for being on contract to hire as the banks doesn't consider uniquehire as a good company

Hi, I've joined LTC through uniquehire as C2H resource and they promised me will convert to LTC payroll after 3 months, 4 months passed I asked manager for update he told that my performance is not upto his expectations(which he also dont know) and cant continue, and I checked with other contractors surprisingly almost other contractors also performed badly and they got released, which seems as conspiracy or scam, since they took huge amount of people as contractors to show headcount and removing them gradually, which is worst kind of management policy done by any company I worked before,
I told will go to Labour commission to complain, they told do whatever you do, you performed badly we can also defend, the thing is they give offers with unbelievable amount based on previous package and will lure people to join, once you join will become scapegoat, I recommend dont join through c2h here, and if I ever got chance, I wont join LTC as permanent employee either.
