Hi all, any recommendations for someone struggling with tech interviews (willing to invest $)? Getting rejection after rejection from big tech across strategy / PM after R1 interviews for ~Principle level. Part of it is not having time for rigorous prep, but also wondering if I’m missing something bigger? Feeling so demoralized and obsessing over every detail, as someone who used to be very good at interviewing 😔

Hate to say it, but especially if the person with whom you interview is an Asian male ( esp not US raised), you aren't getting hired. Has nothing to do with your interview skills and everything to do with the gender bias currently in big tech. Only way to completely circumvent rhe luck of the draw on interviewer I know is to network your way in. And while referrals may get you an interview, unless it is directly to a hiring Mgr, you are back to getting past the bias of the interviewer, and I don't think any prep will help that. You just have to hope for either a female who interviews you ( personally never saw one, but they are bound to exist) or a second generation American born male.

Personally, I think they let you get to round one for their stats.
