Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

KPMG ups 401(k) match to 8%, from 6%, the WSJ reports. (This news is a few months old.) Article also slips in this…that the bump occurred beginning Jan. 1, “after the firm froze its pension plan on Dec 31”. Was that an employee pension freeze, or a partner pension freeze, or both?

Additional Posts in Sales

Anyone else get doubts on if Sales is really their "life's calling"?

Especially in today's world... is spending our talents on Sales really making the world a better place? Should we care?

Do I have to include metrics in a thank you note? I honestly feel exhausted doing this.

Commission plan discussion:
I was promoted to Director of Sales and am tasked with revamping our sales commission plans

We are in a high margin industry, the majority of the team’s sales are transactional, so they are quick closes, and they have a base around 60k

Current plan is: 3, 5, 6, and 8% of revenue depending on different factors

I am thinking of streamlining to make everything 10%. (5% paid upfront when they land the sale, 5% paid once invoiced).

Thoughts? Things to consider?

I recently got a verbal offer to return to as an Account Executive at Indeed after leaving earlier this year for a start up company. I resigned last Friday after getting word that the offer should be in this week, however I received a Docusign with my relocation package outline that I signed off on. I got a call yesterday saying the offer was being retracted due to unforeseen hiring pauses. How/where do these communication breakdowns happen?

The company I work for (SaaS) has little to no inbound leads coming in. We mostly do outbound work. At the top of your head, what do you think could be the main reasons for this?

I am currently in a CSR position and want to know where I should go from here? What would you suggest the next steps I take to further my career.

Looking for some guidance/feedback. I’m currently a director of sales at a mid size Saas firm. I scaled the sales team from 3 to 52. Been a director for 3 years with same company and watched 3 vps and 2 directors come and go. There’s limited to no growth opportunity. So I started the hunt. I have a panel interview with the CEO/cro/ and cmo for a smallish >50 employees. I’m going for a vp of sales... Any ideas on what kind of questions I should prepare myself for?

Curious... I seem to miss the early adopter sales waves at tech companies where AEs are making 7 figures. AWS, Snowflake, Google. Where’s the next big wave?

I have been with my company 20+ years. This past year they did a sales market restructure - directions from new upper management. The restructure has been less than favorable toward my commission goals. The coming years don’t look promising. There are sales people making $$$ only here 1-2 years because they were given all my opportunities. It is hard to leave this company - it has been great until now with the changes. I have a very strong job offer elsewhere - but worried about non compete.

How long does deliveroo take to get back regarding positions I have completed the lead ship interview and would need to do a case-study.No feedback yet been 2 days. Feedback from first 2 interviews was on the spot and the next day.

I have a resume question!

I have 10 plus years of sales experience and 7 in an AE senior AE role however, when applying to positions that I know I am more than qualified for my resume is getting bot rejected before it even gets viewed. I am not sure why other than I do not have my b.a as I decided to pursue sales full time while in college and did not finish. This has not stopped me from getting interviews before , any ideas on how to get around the bots?

Hi all I'm interviewing for a role as a BDR in Dublin in cloud computing. I graduated in 2020 (bachelors) and have worked as a sales manager at a store. They offer € 33k/year and € 22k in commission with relocation fees etc.
It seems like a great company and I'm really interested. Is the salary good for Dublin? And for someone starting their career?

I’m looking to hire the best outside sales talent in Indiana. Would be open to remote work for the right superstar. First year OTE is 150k, 2nd year OTE is 350k. My top rep this year will make over $850k. SAAS company, super high growth. Serious inquiries only please!
