What career path offer the most money?
I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

I made 71k as a first year senior in audit Toronto and was top rated as a first and second year staff (so the base for increase was always as high as it could be). FYI for context.
Edit: this is a competing big4 firm but just thought I’d chime in with a datapoint.
Shoot your shot. Talent is hard to come by right now at the senior levels
Big4 pay is really low in Canada. You may want better leverage other than just ratings.
... do you have to transfer for personal reasons or something like that?
Why would you move from NYC to Toronto? Your pay will be cut in half and the cost of living is about the same. The quality of your clients will decrease and you will have worse exit opps.
I’m having a hard time understanding this one.
Agreed. Compared with US, pay, exit opp, client base are all much worse here
To all who commented, I’m certainly not doing it for the money. I realize my pay is being drastically cut and I’m not happy about it. Hence why I’m scrapping for every extra 1k cad. I’ll be making 75-80k usd when I leave for a position with the same title that pays the equivalent of 50-53k usd.
I received an offer to transfer from EY US to Toronto as a senior 1 for 72k cad. Didn’t accept though.
Transfer as a senior associate 2
PwC Toronto has recently taken SA2 as managers
So shoot your shot.
