I was caught by security because I swiped my friend’s ID card. No action was taken for one month. Yesterday, I received an email from Capgemini HR as a show-cause notice. I replied to the email with an apology and assured them that I will not repeat this mistake.
Can someone please explain what might happen next? I would appreciate guidance from anyone who has faced a similar situation.

Interviewed for 2 jobs I am highly interested in. One offered the job already, but the other one hasn’t made a decision yet but should this week. I have until tomorrow to accept the offer but would like to work for the other company if the compensation package is better. Any advice? I don’t want to accept and then have to cancel, but there’s no guarantee the other job will hire me either. 😩

I was never informed on how raises work for this company, but it’s the end of the year and there has not been any talk of performance evaluation, which I assumed was when compensation would be covered. So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark.
