I'm graduating with a Master's in Biomedical Engineering with a decent amount of research in academia (and no "professional experience" outside of research facilities), but I don't want to pursue down the line to get a PhD. I have been juggling the options of R&D in the industry (MedTech, Biotech, Pharma) or Consulting (Life Sciences) for which I don't really have a background. What are my other options?

Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?

Looking for referrals for a Technical Sales Executive position that is Remote (USA), possibly in the industrial sector. Last year I made $109k at AT&T so I'm hoping to at least stay in the same ball park but want a change. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. This has effectively doubled my salary in the last one year bt still I am confused to switch or not considering the amazing bonuses GDS payed off today. Please suggest.

I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. I didn't ask to increase the amount or JB and I strongly believe I informed early so they can look for other candidates. Is this bluff? Any HR here to clarify

Hi DI folks, how were the hikes last year??

I regret choosing Deloitte India over USI, salary is same but i liked the clarity of my leadership team, which is still the same they are awesome, but USI people are getting many benefits, on time Hikes and appraisals, but i don't get all of those, which is kinda depressing.
I probably should have choosen USI

Does LTA and phone allowance are processed each month as a taxable income if we do not produce the bills ?
