I'm unclear on what you need?
Were you laid off? Was this a performance review that you disagreed with? Either way...what makes you disagree with their feedback? Do you have anything documented that speaks to your success? Did you exceed/meet metrics? More context please.
Good for you looking for a new role btw
I am looking for a new role as I was let go in December. No bad reviews, 1:1’s just out of no where. It makes my resume look like I job hop. Not sure what is needed, maybe guidance on next steps…… advice….. and no I don’t agree with this ….
That sucks! Well, not to be the bearer of bad news, but you should expect to be unemployed for at least 6 months. I JUST accepted an offer after 11 months. I hope you come to terms sooner rather than later that this is going to be a shit show of a journey but you have the time to be strategic about your search and also learn how the market is evolving (again) so you can be of more value in your next role.
I would post my resume in the feedback bowl or ask other TA pros for their input. Then use an updated resume to start applying to jobs and sending a message or 2 to the hiring manager or recruiter of said job
It took me 13 months. I was called for a position that I applied to in June 2024. They called me late January 2025 4 interviews offer accepted Feb 1st. It's really hard but keep at it. Here's my little take on this I can go full force because my non compete expired in Dec. Just a small positive side note.
