Hi everyone, I have a quick question regarding Snowflake certifications.
Can we directly appear for the Snowflake Advanced Data Engineer exam, or is it mandatory to clear the SnowPro Core certification first?

Mandatory to clear Core first

like

Yes, clearing the SnowPro Core certification first is mandatory.
You cannot directly take the Advanced Data Engineer exam.
Official Snowflake Certification Path
Snowflake’s certification structure generally follows this order:
SnowPro Core Certification
Foundation-level certification
Mandatory prerequisite
Advanced Certifications (Specialty Track)
SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer
SnowPro Advanced: Architect
SnowPro Advanced: Developer

Important Rule

To take any Snowflake Advanced certification exam, you must have:
An active SnowPro Core certification
If your Core certification has expired, you must renew it before registering for an Advanced exam.

That said getting to know people only remote has been kind of awkward at times (email only can be tough to decipher) although as a working mom the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Yesterday my main partner asked me to come in Thursday bc he will be there and set a time to meet. Is this good/bad?? kind of nervous!
