After completing my course from Google i started applying for data analyst job but I'm not getting any positive response as such. Anyone have experience interviewing for corporate finance positions at a bank? Have a 1st round interview and wondering if they do cases or pull up excel models and have you break it down, etc.

I have been going on interviews and noticed 2 department heads already assume I was laid off or fired due to a 4 months gap. I explained I left my last role due to short term health issues that have been resolved. Not even sure how to respond when they assume. Any advise? Thanks!

Quit my job and it felt so good, my Manager was an extraordinarily nasty person! Wondering if I should give HR the real feedback at the exit interview or just pretend everything is okay and move on. Thoughts? Manager has no empathy, has a clique within the team and openly plays favourite within the team. Example with flexible holiday her favourites can take 30 days a year but others like me are not allowed above 15 days. Will it make a difference telling HR for the sake of others in the future?

I recently started with Firm A (AM Top 200), and Firm B (AM Top 50) reached out for an interview. Given the potential pay with Firm B is significant (I’d say life-changing), I scheduled the interview. Should I disclose Firm A during the interview or wait and only disclose if Firm B makes an offer? Between now and the interview, I will not have completed any significant work for Firm A.

So.. Need some advice. I'm currently working as a SAP consultant (3 months work experience, just out of college).. I started programming a few months back because I was bored, but I'm really starting to feel the kick. I've basic knowledge of java(I do dsa on java), did a few pet projects with python and sql too. I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?
