How can a person be “overqualified”? I think I still have a lot to learn, specially coming to NYC from other country and culture. Can anyone point me to an agency hiring senior creatives?

Overqualified is how HR discrimate on age or salary. They want cheap and young. It has nothing to do with you. Its all about the $$$$

Are you going through 3rd party recruiters or are you dealing with people in house at the agencies? I always have the best luck dealing directly with agencies. I’ve found that nobody can sell me to a prospective employer or negotiate a better deal for me than I can do for myself.

Has anyone dealt with a capital reduction without a payout? Trying to see how this is treated if a CFC of a US company reduces its share premium to offset a deficit in retained earnings. Is it a dividend for US income tax purposes if no consideration was paid?

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

Hey all! Need a couple book recs for an upcoming beach trip.

Looking for a great non-fiction, relating to travel or world history (not just one moment in time). Could also be about the marketing world or memoirs of a business leader kinda thing.

Fiction wise I also like fantasy, paranormal, and romance. Some fave book series are the Black Gryphon from Mercedes Lackey, Game of Thrones, and From Jamaica Lane series. Similar books?
