I’ve received an offer for EY GDS (US FSO BTC – Multi-client role) in Chennai and wanted to understand the working model.

My background is in FSO (WAM/Private Equity). Will there be an opportunity to continue in similar clients, or will exposure include areas like RRE as well?

Also, how does the multi-client model work at the Assistant Manager level in terms of client allocation and ownership?

Any insights on Chennai vs other GDS locations would be helpful.

McKinsey referral system glitch?

I got a referral from an EM over a month ago. He says my candidate status showed "turned down" immediately following the submission. He suspects it was because the status from my previous application to McKinsey over 2 years ago got pulled into the system automatically. Till now I still haven't received the application link and no recruiter has been assigned. Kind of lost about what to do next.

Just saw that Airbnb's salary range for a 2+ years experience Data Scientist in US is 129k -180k USD.
In INR its 95L- 1.4cr. But in India do they pay even 30L to 4 years yoe?
Last year I saw such salary range for 4+ yoe in US. But in India its yet to increase.
In this quarter these companies have started negotiating in the name of US recession. Irony is salary range didn't decrease in the place where the recession is supposed to occur.

I have 6+ yoe in business intelligence(Qlik), SQL. Self taught python up to oops/pandas/re.
What's the best direction to take my career forward and transition into a better domain if possible?
Should I do some DS/ML or cloud(azure/gcp) courses? If yes, suggest some.
I get calls for python but they demand scraping & webdev(selenium/bs/django/flask) which I have no interest in.
Can someone guide?

Hi fishes! I recently graduated. I got campus placed as associate analyst consulting in Deloitte in my 5th semester. It's been an year there was no communication from the Deloitte apart from the letter of intent. Now recently I received a mail saying we'll be onboarding in phases and onboarding will be completed for 2022 batch by February 2023 .
