Salary offer of $82,500 with 9% bonus for an RIA based on Los Angeles. Is this comparable to the market at the moment? Position is for an advisory associate that handles project management rather than advising.

I was offered a CDP position at Accenture in the Chicago office and an Advisory Associate, Enterprise Solutions role at KPMG in New York. Any insight or opinions between the two companies and roles?

Got a phone screen coming up with PwC for an advisory associate role. How should I go about discussing salary? I know I’m probably getting the “salary expectations” question. Just wanted to hear different perspectives on how to navigate this question. Also, are sign in bonuses the norm? If so, what’s the average $ and what are the terms?

Interviewing for a operational advisory associate position at a mid-market PE company based out of Florida. All-in pay is looking like $200k (for reference, it’s what I currently make as a senior associate)

Anyone have experience working at a strategy consulting firm and moving to a PE advisory group? Any pros or cons you can call-out?

Just saw a posting to hire an AVP role... With 15 years of experience??

I admittedly don't have background in TA, but I do participate in the corporate titles process for existing associates where I work. 15 years for an AVP title seems insane.

TA folks, can you give insight as to how insane KSA asks like this are included in a post? I know you're not the ones coming up with them, but what is that conversation with the hiring manager like when you know they're asking for too much?

So apparently accenture is making people who are on the bench enroll into a mandatory customer service role even if you’re 100% utilized. Friend took 3 weeks of PTO and has been on the bench for a few days and he is being forced. Worst part? It’s Tues-Saturday.

Just got promoted to manager. It’s done more to confirm that PA isn’t right for me long term.

The fact that I’ll eventually need to sell services at some point (I really don’t like selling) in addition to how awful office politics can get (I’m just now getting a taste now that I have access to more meetings) makes me want out ASAP.

Since I’m at a mid-tier/regional firm, I’m wondering what I can do to put myself in the best position to find a job in industry.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I am interested in pivoting from an agency into a traditional business consultancy role. I have start-up tech experience and four years of Strategy experience for media clients. Are there any projects folks in consulting would recommend I take on to add to build on to a resume? From the outside looking in, it seems like there is an overlap in the core competencies of a strong strategist at an agency and a consultant.

Hi, not licensed in Florida but I am hoping this bowl can help me out. My old college friend filed a case in Miami pro se. I am not helping him out but he asked me how long he has to respond to the other party’s motion to dismiss. In my state our state civil procedures dictates a response time but it appears in Florida it doesn’t? The only info I can find is on the judge’s individual webpage’s that states a response has to be filed before the hearing date? Am I missing something?

So I am in a city where my ex lives (nothing major, just a few dates at some point). He tends to watch and ‘react’ to most of my stories on Instagram. I asked him last night via insta if he any restaurant recommendations as I am here with husband and friends and we wanted somewhere fun to go. He hasn’t read it or responded, but clearly watched every single story. Isn’t that sort of rude? I don’t know if I have done something to annoy him but I don’t know how!
