I’m torn. My current role is great in that I have so much flexibility day to day. However, I’m not being compensated fairly per the market value & I work with one of those types that slips thru the cracks that plays the system.. Anyway, a few people left due to this person. There is also a high turnover as competing companies are paying a lot more.

A recruiter reached out to me regarding a position with awesome pay but schedule is like a set 9-5. For me, it would be a promotion..

I’ve been working a contract at a weekly rate for almost 4 months now. The pay is much lower than I would normally take but i did it for the experience and because it was a long term gig. I recently went freelance as an EP and started my own LLC as well (to get the full benefits of being a freelancer). Some agencies and clients want to pay on a W2 versus 1099 / as an independent contractor. Should I still take the gig if W2 or stand my ground and pass?

I am booked at an agency that is filled with toxic people and I got offered a freelance job at a really great agency. I am two weeks into a four week booking but they said that usually keep freelancers on for a really long time. Right now I am only working on edits. Do you all think it would be OK to tell the agency that I’m currently at that I’m going to leave for another booking or is that really bad?
