I applied for multiple position so far at Amgen, but seems difficult to get past screening. Is this the same experience for everyone? What are the chances if one goes through referral ?

So I’m engaged in an interview process for a top FinTech company. It started the 1st week of August and just now I’ve gotten word from my recruiter that they didn’t update on any decisions made. I had my 3rd & final interview last Friday. My recruiter doesn’t communicate well nor does she let me communicate with the company direct. May I being led on? Am I still in the race for this role in your opinion with the details stated. Please message me if you would like to know more in detail.

I want your suggestion on what to choose between M.sc IT or M.sc Computer science. Which one is better for career point of view in IT . I mean i just want your views which degree i pursue as i only have these two options.

$325k TC at MBB in a non-generalist (still partner track) path. Love the intellectual variety, smart colleagues, flexibility (WFH has let me take occasional 2-3h windows during the day for personal activities) - can’t take the stress anymore. So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July. Which is when I have my first vacation planned for over a year (I take 0 time off). My whole family is flying up and we’re renting a cabin near me. What do I do? I’m running one of the deals, semi running the other one and not doing much leading on the other one. Note: I was supposed to not be running any of these. Do I find a back up first or tell the partners first?

Anyone hiring those who have been out of work for a year? I took time off to tend to personal matters, but I am now looking to get back into the workforce again. My previous experience includes time at B4 audit up to senior level and then transitioned to manager in industry. Senior/manager roles are preferred.

I don’t mind audit. However, I’d prefer it not to be at a B4, as I am looking for some semblance of a work life balance.
