So I’m engaged in an interview process for a top FinTech company. It started the 1st week of August and just now I’ve gotten word from my recruiter that they didn’t update on any decisions made. I had my 3rd & final interview last Friday. My recruiter doesn’t communicate well nor does she let me communicate with the company direct. May I being led on? Am I still in the race for this role in your opinion with the details stated. Please message me if you would like to know more in detail.

Don't sweat it. You did what you can. Enjoy the experience and think about how you could have done better. They gave you free practice interviews. If they offer, then it will be a nice surprise. It's their loss.

Don't doubt yourself. You don't need any answer from them to move on. Regardless of their answers, you can choose to move on anytime. You can also pull yourself out of the process if you like.

Recents accepted a verbal offer from a recruiter for a promotion to a lead position. When I receiver the offer letter it was for $1 less per hour than what was stated over the phone. I went back to the recruiter and told him this and was told “If I did say that amount that isn’t correct” and that the calls weren’t recorded. I’ve already been waiting a month for an offer and I know it’s a small dollar amount of a difference but I can’t help but feel like I was lied to. Would you withdraw or no?

Here’s the situational leadership model created by Paul Hersey & Ken Blanchard. The main principle of the model is that there is no single "best" leadership style.

Most successful leaders are those who adapt their leadership style to the performance readiness (ability and willingness) of the individual or group they are attempting to lead or influence.

Effective leadership varies, not only with the person or group that is being influenced, but it also depends on the task, job or function that

Do you think it’s fair to pay full price for a missed appointment? Long story short, I lost track of time by 30 minutes. By the time I realized I messaged her and she said she can’t extend the time due to other clients so I suggested we reschedule for next week. She’s now asking for full payment of $175. I tried to renegotiate so she brought it down to $115. Does this seem fair? Looking for other perspectives

I have two other opportunities that are in final steps but probably won’t have offers by next Wednesday. Both of the other offers will be higher pay but clearly are uncertain for offers. Do I accept the offer I have, which is a good one or wait for the other two to finalize and possibly miss out altogether?
