I got an offer from Comcast on Oct 28 and resigned the same day. My joining date is Dec 22, but my notice period ends on Dec 26. I’m trying to get an early release from my current company while also requesting Comcast HR to extend my joining date by a week. The HR said they’d check with the onboarding team, but I haven’t heard back yet. Anyone faced a similar situation?

I got offer letter from mastercard with joining date as 14 nov and my LWD is 23 nov.. So i informed HR and they agreed that revised joining date will be provided as per LWD screenshot from current organization.

Now I have done follow up multiple time and they are saying they will do it and keep trust on them but not providing ETA.

I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23. I'm bit worried because I don't have releiving letter for those 2m but all other records are clear with me(includes to company I'm currently serving notice period). I yet to reveal this 2m to my Hr. Should I tell and leave as such, Kindly pour your advice.
