Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Think of it like a conversation and not an interview. I know it's tough and it takes practice, but it really helps me just to think of the interviewer as a person I'm just talking to and not somebody who's evaluating me.
You'll be asked questions, but it's not like a game show where you should respond with one precise answer. In a lot of instances the interviewer is going to be interested in knowing how you think. So try to relax and answer the questions in a conversational way. Also, for a first job what matters is establishing that you're reliable and honest and you will show up when you're needed. Those qualities alone can land you a first job.
Thank you 😇

Be prepared to speak on your accomplishments and experience. The more confident you are, the better your responses will be.
Bulletpoint stuff that you want to talk about, about yourself! Read it a bunch of times at home, maybe practice saying it to a relative, like “I’ve always been punctual”, “I had experience in this” so when you get to your interview you’ll be able to use the stuff to generate conversation. That being said practice is key, the more interviews you do the better you will become! Your interviewer is only human too! You can do it, believe in yourself 😁

Honestly the biggest thing most hiring managers are looking for in a first job interview is attitude and reliability. You don’t need perfect answers. When I was new I used to freeze too, so I’d take a second and just answer honestly instead of trying to sound perfect. Showing you’re willing to learn and show up on time matters more than having experience.
Thank you for this advice!!!🙏🏾💕
