Moved here from the U.S. 5 years ago. No. Think it’s an amazing city, but it’s a bit too corporate (too many places that are franchises) for me. I also feel like a lot of the newer apartments that are being built near the city centers are a bit meh (just bad design and mediocre build quality), and if I have to live far out from the city, I’d rather be in another European capital with better nature or in the U.S.
Agreed! And then you have outsiders commenting on the coldness and seriousness of Londoners - try being in the trenches here for a week and see for yourself. If anything we still rise above it, make the most of it and are relatively positive.
Not sure. Depends where the City and country is headed. Economically it is no where near what it was pre Brexit.
