Yes, do it. Lots of people have pets, they'll understand. You wouldn't want to work there if they didn't.
I took a day and half lugging my cat around town for urine crystals. Zero issues or repercussions at work.
Yes. Take the time if you need it. I think anyone would be understanding of that.
Absolutely take the time off. Regardless of how it'll look, you know it's for a real and valid reason and won't happen all the time. They'll see that (even if it takes a while) and you need to prioritize taking care of yourself and your pet.
Take the time. That’s what it’s for, if the manager doesn’t have the empathy to realize this is a big deal, that person has other issues.
Do you have to go into detail as to why you need time off? I would ask for a half day at least.
Of course it's okay to take a break. I feel for you so much. I love my dog and would do everything for them. You should take a day off to spend time with your best friend. Hope it goes well.
