How are Partners who are US tax persons (whether citizens or GCs) handling US tax liability when moving abroad for highly compensated positions above the FEIE threshold?

1. Bite the bullet and pay Uncle Sam?

I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.
