Booz Allen Hamilton rescinded my offer because my current firm will not waive the non-compete clause in our employee agreement. It was allegedly a capability hire, and not tied to a particular project.
I work one level above entry level, and really shouldn’t even have such a restrictive non-compete.
I’ve already resigned, and would prefer to be unemployed rather than continue working here.

Food for thought this a Friday. Quiet quitting has been trending for the last few weeks. This is problematic in two ways. A) Doesn’t actually identify the root cause for burnout (I.e abuse at work or poor company culture B) Completely dismisses a whole demographic of people unable to do the bare minimum without facing penalty. Any other thoughts? https://www.theroot.com/why-is-quiet-quitting-a-thing-for-white-people-but-n-1849407594/amp

Less about sales in B2B and more about problem solving (with a solution that just happens to be for sale). Getting better takes time. Try to connect with high performers where you are now and see them in action to make your own improvement plan.
Honestly, practice makes perfect. I feel like I got better by just jumping into the deep end and learning as I went. The more you do it the better you will get.
You should always try to learn from the best. If there's someone in your office who seems to know what they're doing, pay attention to how they carry themselves. It's like watching a sport, study their performance and learn what you can from it. There's no need to learn everything by trial and error if you can model your behavior on someone who's already good at it.
