I do my best to attend all of the lectures, courses, and book clubs offered by my work. Not only does it show that I'm a team player, but I also learn for free. I also do a lot of independent study on topics related to my industry and career development in my own time.

I like to attend seminars or participate in online coursework from time to time. Nothing too heavy or burdensome. You could also follow some professional podcast to keep up on what’s changing in your field.

Applying for training from the company. But better than that, I like to spend some moments 1-2 hours to have a talk with coworker in the same field. We can discuss the current issues we each find in the company and how to tackle it while minding the updates on policies. Or maybe just a viral HR issues we can find online, anything. Having those discussions open up my perspective every single time!
