How do you tell if you’re actually underqualified or just stuck in a busted market?

I’m a sr creative at an agency working on major entertainment IPs, top 40 artists, brands, and experiential campaigns at a high level. My portfolio is current, professional peers tell me my work/CV are highly competitive, and I rarely get into rounds 2-3 with major companies & never get offers. 100s of applications over the past yr. Crickets. Grateful to be employed, but severely underpaid. What am I missing?

How soon after a final interview with a DM is ok to call and follow up on a job potential?

This bowl has been quiet and I see partners commenting on odd posts around fishbowl so I figure you need more fodder: partners, did any of you have parents that travelled as much as you do?

I’m finally hitting a stride (now in my mid-30s) and have some cash to play around with/invest. Any advise on best course of action for case in which manager intentionally blocks promo opportunity (on different team) so they can keep you in role. And then claim that you are not ready for promo (after they initially were all about you being ready)?
