Any tips for activities for Parents in India (Mumbai Fwiw) in their retired life ? Both my parents were working professional and post retirement they have gone into a shell . COVID situation in the last 2 years has minimized social interaction locally . I see them losing confidence and Nervous about small items which wasn’t the case earlier . Unfortunately none of us siblings live with them - each is out in a different country

Any tactics to score a covid vaccine? I’m in a priority group but having a hard time finding an appointment slot. Any tips?

Since the start of the pandemic, I have been fairly safe and really haven’t gone anywhere (I think I went to TJ Maxx once in a moment of weakness lol). My family on the other hand hasn’t taken any precautions and actually did contract COVID. They keep telling me I’m paranoid and need to start going out but with COVID being worse now than it was back in March, I rather just not. I just want them off my back and wish they would respect my decision to not expose myself like I respected them.

Just arrived to Sydney from Chicago with my wife and 2 sons both under 2. Escorted to hotel quarantine and spending these 2 weeks trying to figure out if I would/could/should make the move to Sydney permanent. Wife and kids are Australian citizens. Made a list of pros and cons- cons column is empty - the only concern is work. How are you folks doing with COVID economy? Are there significant downsizing? How’s the projected technology consulting pipelines down here?

So for those that lived in NY and moved to LA, what are your thoughts? What do you like, don't like, what do you miss? Are the people really that different?

I love how connected & convenient NY is. It always feels lively (bar covid) & it's easy to find something to do but I always wanted to give LA a shot, even if it's for a year. Nice weather year round, film industry, the beach, more space all seem like pros. Doesn't really feel like a city though. I imagine the lifestyle change is a big one.

24F - never been in a relationship or had sex with anyone. Went on a couple of first dates right before COVID hit - nothing too special. I feel like I’m missing out and want to get to know people but haven’t felt a connection on my end either. I’m super busy and also Covid super safe. I just want to get started with my life already but feel like there are so many things in my way (covid, living with parents, working a lot, only a few queer friends, on the heavier side, don’t hate being alone).
