Anybody have to take time off for long-covid? How has your HR handled it? I feel like any info I have gotten on FMLA and disability is because I’ve brought it up and have had to follow up multiple times.

Has anyone purchased their gown from a re-sell site? Nearly Newlywed, StillWhite, etc? Could you share your experience if so? I have two gowns I tried on in person (so I know they fit/look good) and slightly stalking to see if they show up on those sites :)

I am driving both me and my husband crazy. We both work from home in a 4 bedroom home pretty decent size. My husband wants to do daycare and id prefer a nanny. Thankfully money isn’t the the concern, it’s more he thinks we’ll be distracted and I am nervous about anti-vax people and rise of polio and whooping cough. We went to a daycare we liked but they did they allowed religious exceptions which makes me uncomfortable. Would love to get feedback.

I’m an HR Generalist. My job is a mix of recruitment and Employee Relations. I find the recruitment aspect to be pretty enjoyable and stress free, but the Employee Relations aspect does often give me a lot of anxiety (I’m a very anxious person to begin with). Stove, fridge and water heater all went out on the same day last week. Yesterday my spouse said they needed a break from the chaos through the holidays and left. Today a positive covid test. I had cleared all the rounds in S&P and had salary discussion 1.5 month back. The HR is always saying the management is on leave and will soon get the approval and release offer. One of my friend in Wipro has completed 6 months, still he has not received confirmation mail of permanent position , as the notice period in probation is 30 days and probation period is of 6 months, after probation NP is 90 days , if he put papers now , does he have to serve 90 days Notice period or it will be 30 days??

Has anyone else had a mentor (assigned to them by the Company) who seemed to have it out for you? I mean downright sabotage to make you look bad left and right. I didn’t realize it at first. She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.
