How high can salaries realistically get if you never leave usdc, considering you’re homegrown out of college, never switch to core and promotions are hit within normal timelines?

Working with Deloitte USI for 2.5 years now. Currently a TC2 anticipating a Fast Track Senior Promotion in the coming cycle. Making 7.85 lacs (F+V) right now.
Offered 12 lacs (F+V) 10% Variable component and 1 lac joining bonus by Infy for ORMB Associate Consultant. I have decided to move.
Is this a good decision? Specially post yesterday's All Hands.
Please suggest what further I can look too.

What would be the CTC for technical lead role?
They are giving 15 percent variable as well.

Will I get 100 percent variable on quarterly basis or not?

How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

EY background check - anyone ever experienced delays that pushed back start date? I start 8/15 and submitted background check 7/27. Still in process so hopefully I can start on time. If I can’t because of delay, would I be eligible for unemployment during gap between last day at prior employer/first day at EY? 😰

I have a finance degree from UGA, but all of my experience (3.5 years) is in sales (tech and real estate), so no relevant internships unfortunately.
