15+ people have left my company in the past 5 months (180 person startup) mostly due to low pay /poor management, but mainly low pay. I enjoy my role, and believe in the company to the point that I want to do something about it. Have any of you managed to help reduce turnover rate as an IC? Any suggestions on how to approach this especially since I’m not in HR?

Quickest you ever left a job after starting?

Started at a new firm in January and I have mental breakdowns nearly every day (in busy season now). It’s bad, feel like there aren’t enough people to give me guidance as I’m in a new area of tax. Every time I ask someone for help I feel as though I’m bothering them even though they are super nice. My mental health is non existent at this point. I really want to leave and possibly just do something other than tax. Thoughts???
