The work culture is bad . If you are not good at making interpersonal relationships at work you will not be happy working here . Overall they have hired leaders who have bought their ex team members and there is clear bias . If you want to work for an individual rather feeding your own goals ; you can join here . Everything leaders do here is just sucking up to upper management .

I totally agree with you. I have not come across anyone who said the culture is good at Amgen. Even recruiters from other firms now know how bad Amgen is, so they are not even questioning if someone leaves early and look for a job

According to me the work culture is really bad at Amgen India. People who join there need to have a thick skin and no self respect or should play office politics all the time. The micro management is quite intense
Actually it depends team to team. Am part of Manufacturing department and there WLB is superb and team is super supportive as well. Only con is sometimes once or twice we get few calls with US team mostly late evenings otherwise i dont see any cons here.

Join only if you don't have any other job offer. Once you join, continue searching for better opportunities and leave as soon as you can. The workplace is highly political, and there is very little scope for learning or professional growth.
