S&P does not have a good learning curve. Learning is not their priority. You will work on whatever project they have. WLB is okay. Pay is Okay but learning curve does not exist. Depends on your project.

Which project as per you has the most learning curve here? Is internal project switch possible and a easier move?
Are you from EDO department? And during the interview they did mention working with AWS tools, so for someone who havent worked with these open source tools, isnt it a possible learning?
I was working with EDO in S&P. Someone rightly said that the learning curve is subjective and depends on the project. They rely on AI assisted editors heavily and push all developers to create AI enabled solutions. This unnecesary push is actually leading to quarterly layoffs as they have to maintain their profits as a publicly listed company.
Gradually they are moving towards the right process of AI and production regulations (which didn't exist earlier).
Layoffs are also quite biased and you need to have a solid network to save yourself.
AWS is heavily used. GCP is mostly used for using gemini and other models.
There are multiple internal teams working on different internal products / tools. If you are lucky enough, you can get to work for a product.
As far as I know, to be safe from layoffs, you need to be aligned into a revenue generating project/product.

I agree with consultant 1. Only handful of people gets on work on latest tech stack.like agent etc. Rest all are doing BAU work like always. Not much to learn in edo and firing hoti rhti h
I did and they informed me about AWS mainly, and hence that's what I asked like what AWS services they use in EDO MI.
I feel s&p being a brand would be an add on to my growth and resume if get exposure to these financial datasets and tools technics, hence considering
