Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

We did a virtual version of bingo - we used phrases that are typically used in work life to make it a bit more personable.
Phrases like “you are muted”, “did you fill out the D-40”, “DMV”, etc. if you use mnemonics, it helps newbies with regular phrases.
If those 50 participants know each other then do something like tag teaming…for eg, play ‘would you rather’ and then ask the participant to nominate next person who has to answer..go on like this until all participate.
If those are not familiar with each other, then team them up…like 10 teams of 5 each, each team has to name their team and come up with a quote that speaks about the team …the quote can be based on diversity, skills, home states, fav sports team etc…this will encourage team members to get to know each other. Give them time limit. Like 5 mins and then choose a speaker to who would tell the team name and quote and why they chose the quote. You should be done under 15 mins
I recently attended a seminar where we did the ice breaker at our table, so 6-8 people. Instructions were simple: If you really knew me, you’d know… Everyone goes around the table stating something about themselves over and over until time is up. It’s a great way to get to know people and gets you away from defining/introducing yourself based only by what you do for work.
In person or remote?
I like the bingo idea previously mentioned. Cultural bingo is always a good one to learn more about folks that’s beyond surface level things like “speaks 3 or more languages” it’s great for people to interact with a large group…there are some templates online but I always make my own based on the crowd. If you have the cultural competency to facilitate a discussion, or someone else in your organization can assist it’s a helpful “what did you learn” moment. Some of the templates have discussion questions
