Is it worth it to have a Fidelity investment associate to manage your retirement 401K account? I am 25, have about 43K in my 401k, more aggressive type of investment. I’ve been using the one-size-fits-all target date funds.

Curious if anyone has made the shift to Mckinsey from tech? I have an offer to come into Expert (but with expectations that I hit Associate Partner quickly):

Salesforce - 200k base, 40k (opening) + 50k (year 1) + 75k (year 2) RSUs, 15% Bonus

Mckinsey - 215k base, 35k bonus, 75k signing bonus

I know the salaries at Mckinsey skyrocket when you hit Partner - but the work-life balance and benefits at Salesforce cannot be underestimated - and my RSUs keep getting larger and larger...thoughts?

Honest question: Does the consulting pay/benefit model need to change given the likely travel restrictions continuing for the foreseeable future? Heading back to work after maternity-2 and can’t seem to get myself excited about it. Well I’m kind of hoping this gets the boost I want it to. I have been applying to jobs left and right after my company announced it was shutting down in May. I found a new job, but it is not at all the right fit - including a decrease in pay, a misogynist owner (who told me I will never get answers or respect because I’m a female), among other problems. I am hoping someone has a referral for a senior level operations position and can help me find a better fit. Thank you 🙏🏼

Curious to hear from people with med school debt: what is the best way to finance med school? Is taking on student debt a big deal if you get a high-paying job after school? The reason I ask: I paid for my son's BS degree (including housing and meal plans), and he's entering med school soon. He has asked if I will pay anything towards his support in med school. But he worked all through his undergrad degree and saved sine I was paying for the major expenses, so I kind of feel like this is his thing to take on now. AITA?
